Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before purchasing travel services .These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with our consultants (in-store, over phone or by email) as well as online bookings you make on our website

BOOKING PROCEDURES

Please read the conditions of travel as your booking is subject to the terms & conditions listed below. A contract is entered into once your travel agent or IACE TRAVEL receives your deposit and we accept and confirm the booking. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until stated so in writing by IACE TRAVEL. Payment of any monies constitutes acceptance and understanding of IACE TRAVEL’s Terms & Conditions as laid out below, as listed on our website and in our pre-travel documentation.

AGENCY

We act as an agent for, and sell many travel related products as agent on behalf of, numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers(airlines, coach, rail and cruise line)  Any services we provide to you are collateral to that agency relationship. Our obligation to you is to  make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We exercise care in the selection of reputable service providers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the services provided by third parties.  All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions imposed by these service providers. Your legal rights in connection with the provision of travel services are against the provider not against us.  

RESERVATION

When making a reservation, you must ensure that your name (and the name of any person(s) for whom you are making a reservation) matches exactly the name as it appears on your (or the person(s) for whom you are making the booking’s) passport

PRICES

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed once your booking has been paid for in full by you. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Please contact your consultant for up-to-date prices.

PASSPORT

All passengers must be in possession of a valid passport required for entry, departure and travel through each destination along the itinerary of the tour.  All passports must be valid for at least 6 months past the return date of your trip.  Your passport must have enough blank pages (excluding amendment pages) available for entry and exit stamps issued when entering and exiting immigration points. For non-Canadian passport holders, please consult with your local embassy or consulate. 

 

VISA

It is the responsibility of travelers to obtain proper visas in a timely manner prior to the trip departure date.  For non-Canadian passport holders, please consult with the relevant embassies directly in regards to visa requirements.  The customer accepts full responsibility for obtaining all necessary documents, visas and permits prior to the tour departure, and is solely responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from missing proper documentation.  Other requirements and fees may be applicable for non-Canadian passport holders, please consult with the consulate of the country you are visiting.

OUR CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES

For all air bookings will incur a fee of $50.00+tax per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees 

For other services Hotel and Land package, We inform you about change and cancellation policy when booking  

SUPPLIER CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES

Cancelled bookings may also incur supplier fees, which can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced.  Supplier fees may also apply where a booking is changed and when tickets or documents are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a supplier cancellation fee for any booking which you change or cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee. 

TRAVEL PROTECTION

IACE TRAVEL cares for the safety and security of our guests, so we recommend andpurchase for a Post Departure plan with an additional fee that provides coverage for Trip Interruption ,Trip Delay, Baggage loss or theft, Medical Expense and Evacuation and more. RESPONSIBILITY

IACE TRAVEL, as travel agency, acts only as an agent for contracted services. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on the participant’s behalf upon the express condition that neither IACE TRAVEL nor its agents shall be liable or held responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential harm, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground-handler, restaurant, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that IACE TRAVEL neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and not hold IACE TRAVEL responsible for their acts, omissions or commissions. Without their limiting the foregoing, IACE TRAVEL and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, over booking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of terrorism, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participant.

FREQUENT FLYER

When booking with one of our consultants, please let them know your frequent flyer membership details (or other applicable loyalty program details) for inclusion in your booking. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you with points for your booking.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

About the typical information and travel documents, such as passports, visas and affidavits that will be needed for each person for whom travel services are being purchased.That entry to another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete and That living standards and practices at the destination and the standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada

Travel documents include airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider.  Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-date-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees.  Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use.  All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled.  Please review your travel documentation carefully and advise us immediately of any errors in names, dates or timings. If you have booked with a consultant, it is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to travel.
