Day2 - Ise Exploration

Travel to JR Futaminoura Station via Ise-shi Station
Visit Meoto Iwa and Futami Okitama Shrine

Return to Ise-shi or Geku-mae by public transport

Day 3 - Magose-toge Pass Hike

Short drive to Michi-no-Eki Miyama (approx. 10 min)

Distance: 5.2 km | Time: 3–4 hours | Elevation: 325 m
Historic Iseji trail known for its moss-covered cobblestone path, shaped by the heavy rains of Owase
Optional: Mt. Tengura viewpoint (+1 hour, 522 m)
Hike continues toward Owase (seaside town)

Day 4 - Owase → Shingu (Matsumoto-toge & Kumano Shrines)

Matsumoto-toge Pass (World Heritage)

Walk to Hana-no-Iwaya Shrine (World Heritage)

One of Japan’s oldest shrines, where a 45-meter sacred rock is worshipped instead of a main hall

Visit Katsuura Gyoko Nigiwai Market 
Japan’s largest fresh tuna port, where freshly caught, never-frozen tuna is served. Enjoy seafood bowls with ocean views and, on lucky days, a live tuna cutting show.
