Day1 - From Kyoto to Ise

Day2 - Ise Exploration

Travel to JR Futaminoura Station via Ise-shi Station

Day 3 - Magose-toge Pass Hike

Short drive to Michi-no-Eki Miyama (approx. 10 min)

Magose-toge Pass hike
Distance: 5.2 km | Time: 3–4 hours | Elevation: 325 m
Historic Iseji trail known for its moss-covered cobblestone path, shaped by the heavy rains of Owase

Optional: Mt. Tengura viewpoint (+1 hour, 522 m)

Hike continues toward Owase (seaside town)

Day 4 - Owase → Shingu (Matsumoto-toge & Kumano Shrines)

Visit Katsuura Gyoko Nigiwai Market

    Dive into deeper Kumano! Entertaining SNACK Experience by ex-Geisha 

    This program offers a chance to experience Japan’s nightlife and a deeper side of the Kumano Kodo area. Shingu, once a thriving timber hub along the Kumano River, also developed a geisha district (hanamachi), which flourished especially in the 1960s–70s with traditional entertainers supporting local culture and hospitality.

    **Drinks and dried snacks are included. Dinner is not included in the program.
