Hagoita have been cherished in Japan as auspicious objects believed to ward off evil spirits and celebrate healthy growth.
In this experience, you will create your own amulet artwork.Choose Shizuoka-inspired motifs such as Mt. Fuji or Daruma, arranged using the artisan technique of Oshie.
You will also add a meaningful character representing your wish, hand-written with a brush using the elegant Maki-e technique.
The experience is guided directly by a skilled artisan.
