A 400-year-old samurai residence where you can see Edo-period architecture, learn about samurai life, and enjoy seasonal views in a beautiful garden.

Customers can buy their own lunch at the Aoyagi Samurai Manor Museum and enjoy Akita specialties like kiritanpo and Inaniwa udon in an atmospheric samurai setting.

Kakunodate Iaido Experience
A 2.5-hour authentic Iaido lesson where you learn basic techniques in a training uniform, embody samurai spirit and etiquette, practice sword handling under a local master, and finish by cutting a human-shaped cardboard target.
