Visit the active crater of Mt. Nakadake, one of Aso’s Five Peaks (weather permitting), then enjoy a walk through the scenic Kusasenri grasslands. Stop by the Mt. Aso Visitor Center to learn about local wildlife and volcanic activity.
*If the crater is closed, the tour will visit the Aso Volcano Museum instead.↓

*The walk from the parking lot to the observation deck takes about 10 minutes uphill.↓

Visit Nabegataki Falls, formed by a massive eruption around 90,000 years ago. With a 10-meter drop and 20-meter width, its curtain-like flow creates a mystical and photogenic scene.
*The round-trip walk from the parking lot through Nabegataki Park takes about 20 minutes.↓
