    Are you interested in experiencing a quick one-hour introductory performance of Japan's traditional culture and performing arts? Then you must check out Gion Corner, where you can witness Japan's proud conventional culture and performing arts. A Japanese guide guides this course. Still, multilingual pamphlets are available at the traditional performing arts sites, and we will introduce them in Japanese and English before the performance. [Performance Included] Kyoto dance, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto music, bugaku, kyogen, noh, or bunraku.

     

    【Itinerary】

    16:40 - Meet at the JR Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit Okoshi Bus (Kyoto Regular Sightseeing Bus) platform. Present your mobile ticket early enough to exchange it for a bus ticket. Please note that you cannot board the bus with a mobile ticket.

     

    17:00 - Depart from JR Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit

    ◇Imobou Hiranoya Main Store (60 minutes) Experience the taste of the ancient capital passed down for 300 years: "Kyoto specialty Imobou".

    ◇Gion Corner (60 minutes) Performance at 7 pm ◆Introductory Japanese traditional culture performance - Gion Corner - Enjoy a quick one-hour digest of Japan's proud traditional culture and performing arts.

    20:30 - Arrive at Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit Okoshi Bus (Kyoto regular sightseeing bus) stop (scheduled), disband (*For hotels in front of Kyoto Station, it is convenient to get off at Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit.)

      Up to 10 days before the departure date: Free of charge From 9 days (same day of the week) until 11:00 PM on the day before the departure date: ¥1000

      Cancellation after 11:00 PM, the day before the departure date is not allowed.

    • Notice

      Please ensure you have your mobile ticket with you on the day you participate. If you fail to present your mobile ticket, you won't be able to exchange it for a bus ticket. In such a case, you'll have to pay the total amount again on-site and purchase a bus ticket separately.

      Guests of junior high school age and above will be charged adult rates. Children who are under elementary school age can ride for free. However, they will not be provided seats and meals (courses with meals). We suggest reserving a seat for older children who are challenging to hold on your lap. In this case, a child rate will be charged. Please be aware that even if your child does not reserve a seat, you may still be required to pay a separate meal fee at the restaurant for courses that include a buffet-style meal.

      If you have a mobile ticket for the Okoshi Bus (Kyoto regular sightseeing bus), you can conveniently exchange it for a physical bus ticket at the bus stop. Please ensure that you do this at least 20 minutes before the bus's scheduled departure time. You should arrive at the bus stop with plenty of time to spare. *You can’t board the bus with a mobile or paper voucher.

      Please arrive at each meeting point 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
