    Visit the national treasure Kamakura Great Buddha (bronze sitting statue of Amitābha) at Kotoku-in Temple in KamakuraVisit the famous Kamakura Great Buddha located at Kotoku-in, a prominent Kamakura temple. This giant bronze statue, the only National Treasure in Kamakura, is a globally renowned tourist attraction. It stands at 13.35 meters in height and weighs 121 tons. It was made using the casting method, and its interior is hollow, referred to as the "womb" of the Great Buddha. Currently, it is bronze in color, but traces of the former gold leaf covering remain on both cheeks.
