◇ Kinkaku-ji Temple (40 minutes stay) Kinkaku-ji (Shariden), the center of the temple, is a fusion of different architectural styles. The reflection of the building in Kagamiko Pond is breathtaking.
 
◇ Ginkaku-ji Temple (45 minutes stay) Ashikaga Yoshimasa built this villa in the style of Kinkaku-ji Temple. It is said that Yoshimasa himself directed the construction of the garden, which features a circular garden with ponds.
◇ Kiyomizu-dera Temple (120 minutes stay) Kiyomizu-dera Temple is famous for the stage of Kiyomizu. It is registered as a World Heritage Site as one of the cultural assets of the ancient capital of Kyoto.
