This is a one-day bus tour to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Shirakawa-go and Gokayama Gassho-Zukuri Villages (Gifu and Toyama Prefectures)", which is an original landscape of Japan that you should visit at least once! *The tour will stop at Roadside Station Shirakawa-go", the entrance to Shirakawa-go! The Gassho-Zukuri Museum, which offers free tours, is attached to the station, so you can learn about Gassho-Zukuri in advance. *Although not a World Heritage Site, the Kaminashi area, the largest village in the Gokayama region, has been newly added as an important point for understanding the history of the Gokayama area. *Lunch full of delicacies from the mountains is included in the tour.

    • Meal locations are subject to change.
    • The schedule may be changed or cancelled due to road conditions or weather.
    • We may not be able to take you to the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory due to road conditions. There will be no refund for this. (The bus was not allowed to enter the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observatory from April 28, 2023 (Fri.). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but please either walk to the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Observation Deck (approximately 10 to 15 minutes one way) or use the paid shuttle bus (200 yen one-way, payable locally) in front of the Wada House Tour Facility. In line with this, the free walking time in Shirakawa-go will be extended by about 30 minutes. No refunds will be made due to the change in itinerary)
