    【Trip Overview】

The Off Season 2-Day Mt. Fuji Tour offers a more peaceful and relaxed approach to climbing Mt. Fuji. On day 1 we climb to a mountain hut located at 3,000 meters and on Day 2 we climb to the summit and back down the mountain. The sunrise is seen from our mountain hut at the 7th station on day 2, before continuing our climb to the summit.
From mid September, the trails leading up to the summit of Mt. Fuji are often deserted giving our guests more of an opportunity to enjoy the mountain and its surroundings. The Off Season 2-day tour is led by English speaking guides dedicated to assisting our guests in navigating Mt. Fuji, from Tokyo to the summit and back again to Tokyo.

    ----(Day 1)---------

Meet at Tochomae Station in Tokyo or Gotemba Station near Mt.Fuji depending on your preference. The tour will leave promptly at the published departure time of 8:30 a.m. from Tochomae Station and 11:00 a.m. from Gotemba Station.

Departing Tokyo by private bus, we will make our way to the Subashiri trail 5th station, via Gotenba station. After enjoying a delicious lunch provided by our partner mountain hut, we will gear up and depart for the 7th station (3,000 meters), where lodging is taken for the night. A hot dinner of hamburger, rice and pork soup is provided by our mountain hut.

Right before sunrise, we will be awaken for a hearty meal of grilled salmon, rice and miso soup. From right outside our mountain hut, we will watch the sunrise, with views of the Tokyo's sky scrapers and pacific ocean in the background.

Departing shortly after sunrise, the group will continue the 3-4 hour climb up to the summit. After pictures and various summit celebrations, the group will descend back to the Subashiri 5th station and return to Tokyo via Gotenba station.
