    • Requests for non-smoking rooms, double rooms, and baby cots can be made; however, they may not always be accommodated depending on hotel availability.
    • Baby cots may be available at some hotels for an additional charge.
      Please pay directly at the hotel.
    • For children sharing a bed with an adult, only one child per bed is allowed.
    • The following hotels are planned for each city:

  • Regarding Children/Infants

    Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus and Shinkansen seats or lunch. If bus seats or lunch is required, please make a booking under the child rate. Also, at some hotels, a facility usage fee will be required. Please pay at the location.

    ■ Day 3 Meal (Important Notes)

    • During the meal, guests can enjoy a traditional Japanese wadaiko (drum) performance.
    • The performance may not be available if there are significant delays or due to facility circumstances.
    • It may also be canceled without prior notice.
    • Performance cancellation period: May 25 – June 20, 2026
      No refunds will be issued in case of cancellation.

      Due to facility circumstances:
      • The lunch venue and menu will be changed (Japanese-style meal or buffet)

    ■ Meal Definitions

  • Airport Shuttle Service

    (Airport → Hotel)

    • If you are unable to meet the assistant within 90 minutes after your flight arrival, the service may be canceled.
      No refunds will be provided in this case.
    • The assistant will meet you at the arrival gate and assist you until you board the taxi.
      The assistant will not accompany you in the taxi.
    • Depending on your flight, you may need to take a shuttle bus to the taxi pick-up location.
    • If additional charges are incurred due to delays or extensions beyond the designated service time for personal reasons, these may be charged at a later date.
    • Vehicle arrangements:
      • 1 person: Sedan
      • 2–3 persons: Van
      • 4 or more persons: Sedan and/or van depending on group size

    • The meeting time on the final day will be provided by the evening of the day before departure.

    (General Information)

    • Porter service is not included. Please carry your own luggage.
    • Luggage allowance: Up to 2 pieces per person
      (Strollers and similar items count as one piece.)
    • If all luggage cannot fit in the assigned vehicle, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for luggage delivery or alternative transportation.
  • Day 2 (Tokyo Half-day Tour)

    At Tokyo Tower, only the main observatory (150 m) will be entered. An additional admission fee is required to access the special observatory (250 m). For those interested, please pay the required charges on your own.

    Due to traffic restrictions or entry restrictions, etc. near the Imperial Palace, operation may be suspended or departure may not be possible from the designated departure location.

  • Day 3 (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)

    ■ Mt. Fuji Visibility

    • Mt. Fuji may not be visible due to weather conditions, even from the base.
    • The tour will not be canceled, and no refunds will be provided for this reason.

     

    ■ Mt. Fuji 5th Station Access

    • In a typical year, the 5th Station is accessible from late April to November.
    • During winter (approximately December to early April), the Fuji Subaru Line may be closed due to snow or icy conditions.
    • If the road is closed or weather conditions prevent visibility, the tour will visit alternative locations instead:

    ■ Changes to Cruise & Ropeway Activities

    • If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are suspended due to weather, road conditions, or congestion, alternative locations will be visited.
    • The tour will not be canceled, and no refunds will be provided.

    ■ Weather & Clothing

    • Some locations on this tour, such as Mt. Fuji 5th Station, are significantly colder than Tokyo.
    • Bringing warm clothing is strongly recommended.

    Reference temperatures:

    • Summer: as low as 14°C (57°F) during the day
    • Winter: as low as -5°C (23°F)
  • Day 5 (Nikko Tour)

    ■ Walking & Distance

    • This is a walking tour of approximately 5–7 km.
    • After arriving in Nikko, some parts of the itinerary may be entirely on foot (total approx. 7 km).
    • There are slopes and stairs around Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kanmangafuchi Abyss.
      Wear shoes with good traction, comfortable walking clothes, and use a backpack.

     

    ■ Public Transportation

    • Public transportation will be used to move around on this tour.
      Seating is not guaranteed.
    • The usual transfer from Shinjuku to Nikko is by direct limited express train from JR Shinjuku Station to Tobu Nikko Station (also used for return).
    • Due to timetable changes or operational circumstances, alternative routes may be used, such as:
      • JR Tohoku Shinkansen (reserved seat) + conventional line train
      • Limited express train departing from/arriving at Tobu Asakusa Station + subway transfer

    All transportation fares are included in the tour price. The guide will accompany the group from departure at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo until arrival at Shinjuku Station.

    ■ Winter & Inclement Weather

    • During winter (Dec–mid March) or inclement weather when road safety to Kanmangafuchi Abyss cannot be guaranteed, the tour may visit alternative sites instead:

    Futarasan Shrine / Rinno-ji Temple Sanbutsu-do Hall / Taiyuin Mausoleum (Rinno-ji Temple) / Tamozawa Imperial Villa / Toshogu Museum / Kanaya Hotel History House / Nikko Botanical Gardens

    ■ Safety & Comfort

    • Land leeches are present from April to November.
      → Keep your legs covered, wear thick socks, and bring bug spray.
    • Some areas in Toshogu Shrine require shoes to be removed.
      → Wear shoes that are easy to put on/off and comfortable for walking.
    • Congestion is expected at some locations.
      → An audio guide service with explanations from a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter will be available.

  • Day 7 (Kanazawa Afternoon Tour)

    After departure, the tour may stop at hotels in Kanazawa City to pick up customers.
    Please note: passengers cannot disembark for a break at this stop.

    *If sightseeing facilities are closed, the tour will be guided to alternative destinations.

  • Day 8(Shirakawago & Takayama)

    In Shirakawago, entry to a thatched-roof house may be delayed due to congestion; guests may explore on their own.

    On the way to Takayama, a stop may be made at a roadside station for lunch (at guests’ own expense).

    *If any sightseeing facilities are closed, alternative destinations will be visited.

  • Day 10 (1-Day Kyoto Tour)

    • Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday) and on Imperial Household Agency event days; Kitano Tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead. If closed on the 25th, Nishi Hongan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
    • Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December, and from Dec. 26 to Jan. 3 (or the following day if Tuesday is a holiday); Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
    • Participants will walk about 15 minutes each way from the parking area to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine.
    • No refunds will be issued if alternative destinations are visited.
  • Day 11 (Nara Afternoon Tour)

    • Participants will walk about 25 minutes each way from the parking area to Todai-ji Temple.
    • Please inform us at the time of booking if any participant uses crutches or a wheelchair, or has a chronic illness that may make long-distance walking difficult.
    • At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will enter the Main Sanctuary special visit area; if unavailable due to events or operational reasons, Kasuga Taisha Museum or Todaiji Museum will be visited instead.
    • No refunds will be issued if alternative destinations are visited.
  • Day 12 (1-Day Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour)

    • The round trip between Miyajimaguchi and Miyajima will generally be operated by JR West Miyajima Ferry; if unavailable, Miyajima Matsudai Kisen will be used instead.
    • The JR West Miyajima Ferry will use the Otorii route, which passes closest to the Great Torii of Itsukushima Shrine; however, the route may not be available due to weather or high tide conditions.
  • Luggage Delivery

    • On Day 7, suitcases and other large luggage will be transported separately by truck from Tokyo hotels to Kyoto hotels the following day.
    • Up to 2 standard-size luggage items per customer can be transported.
    • As delivery is on the following day, guests must prepare an overnight bag for the 2 nights in Kanazawa.
    • Please refer to the information document provided after arrival in Japan for details.
    • Luggage will arrive on Day 9 evening or later; please confirm arrival at the hotel front desk.
    • Large luggage exceeding 160 cm (total of height, width, and length) cannot be brought onto the Shinkansen. If carrying such luggage, please use a delivery service at your own expense.
