Set in Hirosaki Park, this historic castle is Japan’s northernmost original keep. It’s a top cherry blossom spot with 2,600 trees, stunning autumn colors, and magical snowy views in winter.

11:40-12:30 Tsugaruhan Neputa Village
See the vibrant Neputa festival floats—part of Japan’s Intangible Folk Cultural Heritage—any time of year. Explore traditional Tsugaru crafts and a historic garden in the Oishi Bugaku-ryu style, a Registered Monument of Japan.

14:20-15:20 Takayama Inari Shrine
Like Kyoto’s Fushimi Inari, Takayama Inari Shrine features rows of vermilion torii gates that create a mystical atmosphere. The shrine is believed to bless visitors with good harvests, maritime safety, and business success.

  • Inclusions

  • Operation Conditions/Tour Conditions

    - If the minimum number of participants (2) is not met by 14 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.

    - The last reception day (reservation deadline) is 14 days prior to the tour.

    - For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.

    - If the tour is canceled, customers will be notified by the conducting company or their travel agent.

  • Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee

    - The order of activities and arrival times may differ on the day depending on reasons such as road conditions and congestion at destinations.

    - Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be changed to a hired car, taxi, etc.

    - Seats may not be designated.　

  • Regarding Children/Infants

    Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with vehicle seats. If vehicle seats are required, please make a booking under the child rate.

  • Meeting Location in Nagoya

    JR East Travel Service Center (Aomori) inside the Aomori Station building / 07:50

    *Customers who are late for the departure time will have their reservations canceled. Please give yourself plenty of time.

  • Children/Infants

    - Only 1 child 0-3 years old per adult may join for free. Grand Sumo Tournament viewing seats will not be provided for them. They will have to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. Ages are determined based on how old the participant will be on the day of the tour. If the child requires a seat, please make a booking at the child rate (typically for ages 4-11), same price as the Adult rate.

  • Guide/Tour Conductor

    This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.

  • Regarding Meals

    - Vegetarian meals are available for lunch and must be requested at the time of booking.

    - Please input "0" if there are no customers requesting a vegetarian meal. If requests are not provided in advance, same-day changes cannot be accepted.

    - Allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available. 

  • What to Wear/Bring

    - As suitcases, etc. cannot be brought during the tour, please have them delivered in advance, or leave them in a locker or at your hotel before participating.

    - Snowfall is expected in winter. Wearing snow boots or other shoes that protect against snow is recommended.
